Inner Seasons is a perimenopause and menopause symptom-tracking app made by Novelty Web Solutions. This page explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with. We wrote it to reflect exactly what the app does — not a generic template.

Inner Seasons does not require an account or sign-in. There is no login, no username, and no password. Everything described below is tied to your device, not to an identity we hold.

1. Information the app collects

We do not collect your name, email address, contact list, precise location, advertising identifiers, or any analytics/usage-tracking data. Inner Seasons has no ad SDK and no analytics SDK integrated.

2. Who we share data with

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it for advertising. A small number of service providers process specific data on our behalf, only for the purpose of running the feature you're using:

Sage's AI responses: When you message Sage or request a symptom summary, your message and the relevant context (cycle phase, recent symptoms) are sent to our backend service, which uses Google's Gemini API to generate a reply. This only happens when you actively use the AI companion — it isn't a background process.
Subscriptions: Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and managed through RevenueCat, which receives purchase/transaction data needed to activate and track your subscription tier. Neither Inner Seasons nor RevenueCat receives your payment card details — Google Play handles that directly.
Health Connect: If you choose to connect biometric data, it's read from Android Health Connect directly to your device. We don't relay this data to any third party — it's used locally to power in-app features like hot flash correlation and HRV-based pacing.

3. Data retention and deletion

Symptom logs, notes, and biometric history stay on your device for as long as you keep the app installed. Uninstalling the app removes this local data. Messages sent to Sage are processed to generate a response and are not stored by us afterward. You can delete individual logs at any time from within the app.

4. Your choices

Health Connect access is opt-in — the app works without it, just without biometric-driven features.
You can use Inner Seasons without ever messaging Sage.
You can delete any log or note directly in the app at any time.
Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

5. Children's privacy

Inner Seasons is intended for adults navigating perimenopause and menopause and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, note the change in the app's release notes.
